On September 18, 2006 when my mom unexpectedly passed off into her new reality, altering mine - what I really needed was a "loss guide" - a manual she might have given me long before her departure. Maybe it would have led to an adult version of "The Birds And The Bees Talk" and I would have been better prepared for the loss. But alas, one did not yet exist.
